About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer to join our team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical and electronic systems for our marine and defense projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for marine and defense projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and electronic systems with other disciplines
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and engineering drawings
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure our designs are innovative and effective
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level, or HNC/HND equivalent, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Significant experience in electrical and electronic design and development, preferably in the marine or defense industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including circuit design, electronics, and automation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in relevant design and engineering software, including CAD, simulation, and analysis tools
