Job Title: Physician - Psychiatrist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician - Psychiatrist to join our team at Charles River Community Health. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional psychiatric care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients, providing psychiatric assessment and care services.
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, utilizing evidence-based medicine.
  • Provide consultation to nurses and manage patient care through Electronic Medical Records.
  • Collaborate with Behavioral Health and primary care clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and family members about mental health and medical conditions.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor with board certification in psychiatry.
  • Active license to practice psychiatry in Massachusetts.
  • Prior ambulatory experience preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
