Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on continence care to patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective continence care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop tailored care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in continence care, and apply this knowledge to inform practice.

Requirements

  • Registered practitioner to degree level.
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
  • Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training.
  • Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of legislation relevant to the area of clinical practice.

Desirable Criteria

  • Non-medical prescriber.

Essential Experience

  • Experience at Registered Practitioner Band 6 level.
  • Evidence of risk management skills and experience.
  • Experience of developing specialist programmes of care for an individual or groups of patients/clients and of providing highly specialist advice.
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working.
  • Liaison Psychiatry service experience.

Information Technology

  • Able to analyse data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience of using electronic patient/service user record systems.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work within our healthcare team to provide expert advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
