Legionella Risk Assessor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest safety standards for our customers and communities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential Legionella risks in water systems
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent Legionella outbreaks
  • Collaborate with our internal Quality Control/Assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Compile accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on Legionella risk management
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the Water Hygiene industry and/or conducting risk assessments
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulatory legislation and practice
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license and Enhanced DBS clearance
