UK Sustainability Project Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at MBDA Missile Systems. As a UK Sustainability Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in defining, planning, directing, and delivering a range of ESG, Sustainability, and Social Value projects and initiatives that align with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply effective project management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms to facilitate the achievement of ESG programmes and budgets.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects and activities, including business case reviews.
  • Monitor project progress and report on this against forecast plans and programmes.
  • Support the UK Sustainability Project Manager in ensuring that top-level plans and targets are maintained and adhered to.
  • Maintain databases such as the team action tracker to ensure items are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage the ESG risk and opportunity management approach using ARM and drive a similar approach for issue management.
  • Devise and implement a UK ESG, Sustainability, and Social Value Communications and Engagement plan, focused primarily on internal stakeholders, to raise the profile of the topic around the business.
  • Manage ESG, Sustainability, and Social Value learning development opportunities for the business.
Requirements:
  • Proven project management skills and knowledge with the ability to own and manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in proactively planning and managing corporate engagement activities and materials with good motivational skills.
  • Sound management experience covering financial, commercial, and projects.
  • Willingness and ability to build personal ESG, sustainability, and social value knowledge.
