This is where you come in as our newest Merchandising Planner, tasked with the exciting challenge of creating store layouts that embody this mission.

Contract: We have multiple positions available, each with different contract lengths -

2 x 12-month Fixed Term Contracts, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (options of 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm)

Location: Our hybrid working model allows for 2 days in our Milton Keynes Offices weekly, while the remaining days can be worked from a location that suits you best (occasionally, this may extend to 4 days remote work, but regular office attendance is expected for 2 days per week).

This role will also involve some travel to various Homebase locations across the UK.

Role Overview

As a Homebase Merchandising Planner, you will be responsible for developing planograms that facilitate easy navigation for customers, uphold 'best in town' display standards, and ensure efficient stock replenishment.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Utilize our micro space planning software along with data reports to analyze and create accurate, commercially viable merchandising planograms that are visually appealing. Construct and maintain category planograms, ensuring they are updated according to established critical paths, display, and operational guidelines. Collaborate with the team to create and disseminate planograms and merchandising guides that align with the company's vision and values, driving sales through review, feedback, and necessary adjustments. Work with the team to address any planogram-related challenges and implement best practices.

Qualifications for Success:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with planogram software is advantageous. Strong project management capabilities Excellent commercial insight with analytical and numerical skills Ability to interpret data effectively, simplifying complex information for relevant stakeholders.
