Job Summary:

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team in Cambridge. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Receive and store deliveries from our European Distribution Centre (EDC)
    • Pick and pack customer orders, loading relevant vehicles in accordance with a delivery schedule
    • Perform quality control checks and minor rectification work as needed
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Driving and Delivery:
    • Drive a commercial van to deliver goods to up to 20 customer sites
    • Manage a multi-drop delivery pattern, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Office-Based Tasks:
    • Perform stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records
    • Undertake administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in driving a commercial van
  • Current B Licence
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
