We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated mental health team at HMP Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care to patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on the caseload onsite.
- Participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead senior mental health clinicians on service developments, and provide clinical supervision.
- Work within the multidisciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi-professional complex case reviews.
- Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course.

- Registered professional with current registration (GMC).
- Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry.
- Approved under section of the MHS 1983.

- Up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD.
- Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation.
