Childcare Practitioner Role at Toad Hall Nursery Group

This engaging position encompasses a variety of duties. As a Childcare Practitioner, your primary focus will be on nurturing children from infancy to preschool age, ensuring their enjoyment while addressing their unique requirements.

  • We are looking for candidates with an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare, though those with a Level 2 qualification may also be considered. Opportunities for both full-time (40 hours) and part-time (20 hours) roles are available, Monday to Friday, including positions within the Supply Team.
  • A relevant qualification or experience in the childcare field is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional care for children aged 0-5.
  • Ensuring effective nursery operations by adhering to established policies.
  • Implementing innovative ideas and activities.
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Creating a joyful atmosphere every day.

Required Qualifications:

  • Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of EYFS and activity planning.
  • Understanding of planning and documentation processes.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
