What you will be doing

You will be part of a close-knit team that provides care and support to individuals with mental health conditions. As a bank support worker, you will utilize your experience to help people lead a valued and fulfilling life.

A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential in this role, as you will be working in a challenging environment at times. However, it is incredibly rewarding to see people improve and make a real difference in their lives.

At Elysium Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like. You will be working in a 24/7 environment with 12.5 hour standard shifts, and as a bank support worker, you will be on a zero hour contract, giving you the flexibility to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working

Wellesley Hospital is a purpose-built 73-bed hospital in the South West that provides care and support to men and women with mental health problems. The hospital also has a separate 13-bed service for individuals with a learning disability who may present with mental illness, personality disorders, and an autistic spectrum condition.
