Accounts Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Mitchell Adam. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting team by performing tasks such as communicating with clients and suppliers, maintaining accurate customer records, and preparing month-end duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers via phone and email, resolving any issues or queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end duties, including reconciliations and financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all information is complete and compliant with company policies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
