Probus Recruitment Ltd is collaborating with a prestigious research-focused institution that prioritizes a healthy work-life balance. They are in search of a skilled Legal Affairs Specialist.


The Legal Affairs Specialist will be tasked with the formulation and negotiation of intricate legal documents involving various stakeholders, alongside providing essential contractual guidance concerning consultancy, collaborative agreements, intellectual property, and commercialization as necessitated by the Intellectual Property & Commercialization Division.


This position will offer support and expert advice to the Intellectual Property & Commercialization Division regarding contracts received from external partners and project teams, particularly concerning collaborative and contractual obligations.


Additionally, the Specialist will ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures, as well as compliance with funding conditions and guidelines.


When required, the Legal Affairs Specialist is expected to align their efforts with those of the Research & Legal Contracts Officers.


**Qualifications Required:**
Degree in Law, PgDip in Legal Practice (or equivalent).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, consultancy contracts, and intellectual property licenses and assignments.
  • Skilled in negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Experience in procuring legal services.
