Job Description

Job Title: Room Leader - Early Years Foundation Stage

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure the effective implementation of nursery procedures and policies.
  • Quality and Standards: Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring that practice and provision meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child's progress and promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and young people, adhering to the requirements of the EYFS.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience: A relevant qualification in early years education or a related field, with significant experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Personal Qualities: A commitment to providing high-quality care and education, with a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
