Internal Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Internal Communications and Events Specialist to join our team at Next. As a key member of our Employer Brand team, you will be responsible for bringing to life numerous campaigns and projects for our employees.
About the RoleThis part-time role will be shaping the Internal Communication landscape for Joules through engaging campaigns and business-critical messages to ensure the business can grow. You will be responsible for maintaining current business-as-usual activities for internal communications and events while pushing forward and implementing new and exciting changes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote company culture.
- Collaborate with the Employer Brand and HR Teams to improve communication and avoid duplication.
- Produce high-quality, well-written copy for internal communication platforms, ensuring it fits with the Joules tone of voice and Employer Brand.
- Continually develop and improve our communications platforms, Life at Joules, employee events, and other communication channels.
- Educate others on effective communication in their teams and business areas.
- Analyse and report on internal communications campaigns, identifying opportunities for future content and strategies.
- Support and run internal events for departments or the entire business.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to proofread.
- A solid creative skill set, particularly in Adobe Suite, with knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of Google Workspace, especially the ability to create and maintain Google Sites.
- Event planning experience.
- Strong people skills at all levels.
- Google Analytics experience.
- Optimising content for SEO.
- Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro video editing skills.
- A good understanding of Employer Branding and its operations.
- Experience working in an internal communication role or environment.
- Knowledge of Policies, Processes, Terms & Conditions, and GDPR.
