About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Islington. As a member of our dedicated SEN team, you will work closely with students who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support for SEN students in KS1 and KS2.
  • Assist in the development of personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a nurturing, safe, and encouraging environment for students to thrive.
  • Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons.
  • Help students develop life skills, communication, and independence.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with PMLD, SLD, and Down syndrome.
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification is preferred.
  • Passion for SEN support and a compassionate approach.
  • Commitment to helping children succeed academically and emotionally.
