About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a core team of staff on our male adult mental health inpatient ward.

You will need to be able to form therapeutic relationships with people with mental health needs and work collaboratively with service users and their families/carers. The successful candidate will have a current professional registration with the NMC and a minimum of 18 months post-qualifying experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to a core team of staff on the male adult mental health inpatient ward
  • Form therapeutic relationships with people with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with service users and their families/carers
  • Supervise or assess students on practice placement
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Recognised Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor, clinical educator or equivalent
  • Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing clinical supervision
