RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop direct reports using core values and performance management.
  • Enhance the business's development aspect by creating and executing an asset care strategy.
  • Utilize critical thinking and data analysis to engineer out losses and drive improvements in the site's assets.
  • Lead asset criticality analysis to align engineering strategy with operational goals.
  • Establish user-driven maintenance to enhance production efficiency and encourage autonomous maintenance.
  • Implement asset standardization through centralising for precise machinery adjustment.
  • Assist in maintenance, repair, and operations inventory planning.
  • Establish and manage the site's technical library to improve asset standardization and maintenance management.
  • Foster a strong partnership with the Performance Maintenance Manager to ensure alignment in asset care strategy.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Manager or equivalent in a high-paced manufacturing environment
  • Engineering qualification at HNC or Degree level
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM methodologies
  • Strong operational and financial acumen with budget management capabilities
  • Track record of successful capital project execution and proficient project management skills
  • Familiarity with equipment, suppliers, and service providers
  • Engineering Planned Maintenance Systems
  • Exceptional meeting, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Advanced IT skills, including MS Office suite and proprietary systems
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities
