About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at McCormick & Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Maintenance and Reliability
    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
    • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform repairs as needed.
    • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Production Optimization
    • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent equipment-related quality issues.
    • Collaborate with quality and safety teams to identify and resolve quality and safety-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
    • Proven experience in a maintenance or production optimization role, preferably in the food or consumer products industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
