Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals within our in-patient Acute and PICU service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop personalized care plans to address patients' needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Offer therapeutic interventions and unwavering emotional support to aid patients in their recovery journey, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborative Care: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care, advocating for patients' needs and rights while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication among healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Valid RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and UK NMC Pin.
  • Experience: Proven experience in acute mental health settings, with a strong understanding of PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) and Acute procedures.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and various therapeutic interventions.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to remain effective and composed in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with a commitment to upholding diversity, equality, and inclusion principles in healthcare.
