Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to children in nurseries across the local area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience in childcare, working with a reputable agency that values its staff and provides excellent training and support.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety, happiness, and stimulation of children in your care
- Communicate effectively with children using play-based approaches
- Support children's development and learning
- Maintain a child-friendly environment and ensure the cleanliness of toys and play equipment
- Keep accurate records of children's progress and development
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ level 2/3 Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children
