About the Apprenticeship

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education and care to our students. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting teachers and other staff members in the classroom
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of educational programs
  • Providing individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of our students. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible in your approach to meet the changing needs of the school.

Training and Development

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will have access to comprehensive training and development opportunities to support your growth and success in this role. You will work closely with our experienced training team to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as classroom management, lesson planning, and student support.

Working Hours and Salary

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week during term time only, with a salary of £8.60 per hour rising to the National Minimum Wage after 12 months.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this role, you will need to possess a minimum of A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Previous experience working with children or in a related field is desirable but not essential.
