Job Summary

This is a permanent role as an Electrical Supervisor, responsible for overseeing and managing a team of electricians on various projects across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the projects quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers.
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential).
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential).
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects.
  • Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Management in delivering safe profitable projects.
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
  • Relevant H&S certificate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider.
Desirable
  • PASMA / IPAF.
  • Confined space.
  • COMPEX.
  • EUSR water hygiene.
  • Thames water passport.
  • Test and Inspect.
