Job SummaryThis is a permanent role as an Electrical Supervisor, responsible for overseeing and managing a team of electricians on various projects across the South East region.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the projects quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
- Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers.
- Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
- ECS gold card (essential).
- SSSTS / SMSTS (essential).
- Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects.
- Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
- Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Management in delivering safe profitable projects.
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
- Relevant H&S certificate.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Emergency first aid or First Aider.
- PASMA / IPAF.
- Confined space.
- COMPEX.
- EUSR water hygiene.
- Thames water passport.
- Test and Inspect.
