Job Purpose

This role will be focused on targeting prospective customers interested in starting their solar journey. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end sales journey, owning the initial interaction, hosting virtual consultations, and delivering clear, concise quotations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer interactions, pipeline, and closing contracts
  • Respond to customer enquiries and leads generated through specific sales channels
  • Make and answer calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Stay up-to-date with all systems to enable effective interrogation and customer intelligence
  • Have in-depth knowledge of products and services to explain features and benefits
  • Ensure accurate product information is provided to customers at all times
  • Satisfy customer sales enquiries on initial call whenever possible
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to individual performance, successes, failures, opportunities, and threats

Requirements

  • Sales professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven history of closing deals and hitting targets
  • Technical product knowledge (training will be provided)
  • Top-level organisational skills
  • A sales background (preferably in telesales/direct)
  • Ability to 'roll up sleeves' and get work done in a scale-up environment
  • Interest in the renewables energy industry (advantageous)
  • Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
  • Confidence to deal with decision-makers
  • Can-do mentality, pragmatic, drives for operational excellence
  • High ethical standards practiced both externally and internally
  • Confident and capable within the Microsoft Office environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
