Data Scientist Role at Aviva

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Insurance, Wealth, and Retirement Analytics Team in York, Bristol, or Norwich. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of insurance by applying data science techniques to improve decision making and performance within Aviva.

About the Job

You will join a team responsible for creating and maintaining predictive models used across a range of business areas. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders to maximise the usage of our insights, delivering and maintaining our data science solutions. You will work with one of the richest insurance datasets in the world, applying sophisticated techniques and technology to all stages of the data science process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate problems, extract, and prepare data
  • Apply modelling techniques to deliver solutions
  • Work with stakeholders to maximise the usage of our insights
  • Deliver and maintain data science solutions
