Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in a commercial management role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on commercial management, planning, and dispute resolution services to clients in the construction and engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of claims for loss and expense, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of adjudication documentation, maintaining a thorough understanding of contract law and dispute resolution procedures.
- Draft written reports, presenting clear and concise process, conclusions, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Operate Standard Forms of Contract (JCT / NEC / FIDIC) with ease, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction life cycle, from tender to completion.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of 2 years post-degree qualification experience in a related field.
- Be MRICS Qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of contract law and dispute resolution procedures.
- Have a working knowledge of major construction and engineering projects, including cost analysis and management.
- Be interested in pursuing a Construction Law MSc or Post Graduate Diploma, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
