Brownlee Cale is seeking a seasoned Freelance Site Engineer to join a highways project on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setting out and monitoring of works on site to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize GPS technology for accurate site traversing and data collection.
- Manage and respond to technical queries from stakeholders and team members.
- Ensure that quality control requirements are met and documented in accordance with project standards.
- Promote and maintain a high standard of health and safety and environmental compliance on site.
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working in a highways environment, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- A valid CSCS card, demonstrating a commitment to site safety and compliance.
This is a temporary assignment, with the potential for further work for high-performing contractors.
