About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Accountant to join our Financial Control team at Ramp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial deliverables and supporting compliance with local and international statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Compliance and Regulatory
  • Oversee compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Act as project lead for all Finance GEO Expansion
Accounting and Reporting
  • Working on equity reconciliations
  • Production and maintenance of group transfer pricing methodology including modeling and liaising with external advisors
  • Assist with the accurate and timely reporting of month-end accounts
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Meeting both individual and finance team objectives
Internal and External Audits
  • Liaising with local and group auditors to satisfy audit requests
Ad Hoc Requests
  • Ad hoc requests required by the Group Financial Controller or CFO
Requirements
  1. Accounting and Tax Knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting, corporate tax, VAT and statutory requirements in UK
Experience and Skills
  • Experience assisting and liaising with external consultants to prepare tax and financial account filing in Poland, Ireland and the US
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite, as this is used on a daily basis
  • Problem-solving skills to address key control and reconciliation tasks
  • Experience in automation and systems implementation
Education and Certifications
  • Full or part accountancy qualification with one of the main professional bodies (i.e. ACCA, CIMA etc.)
Language and Communication
  • English language proficiency, as we work in a multinational team
