Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Marlow. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for a significant client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management, and liaising directly with clients to build trusted relationships.

You will also be responsible for managing a junior team of accountants, overseeing the portfolio's workflow, allocating resources, managing deadlines, and ensuring client experience outstanding service levels.

Additionally, you will support senior team members with complex accounting issues, monitor commercial aspects of your portfolio, and report directly to Partners.

Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified with previous UK practice experience.
  • Study support can be provided if part qualified.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks, cloud software, and CCH.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to oversee workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Confidently mentor junior team members, in a positive and constructive manner.
