About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering bespoke solutions to our customers, ensuring that their technical requirements are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and offsite technical support to our customers, ensuring that their systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Configure and deploy our software solutions to meet customer specifications, working closely with our sales and project management teams.
  • Manage large-scale projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our software solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise to our pre-sales and sales teams, supporting the development of sales quotes and proposals.
  • Work closely with our project manager and systems integrators to achieve deliverables across the sales and integration cycle.
  • Resolve technical issues in compliance with established processes, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Provide an open forum for questions and best practices, supporting the evolution of our software implementation and integration.
  • Deliver high-quality system handover documentation to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure the proper recording of issues encountered in the field, using our ticket system and CRM tool.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Proven experience in providing technical solutions for enterprise customers, with a deep understanding of networking principles and IP protocols.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, IP video systems, and server virtualization concepts.
  • Clear understanding of TCP, IP, and UDP protocol stack, as well as network storage principles and best practices.
  • Proven technical training in software and/or IT verticals in fast-paced environments.
  • Must hold a full driver's license.
