Position Overview:

As an integral member of our team, the Assistant Building Surveyor will play a crucial role in the operational execution of our property services. This position involves assisting in the management of repairs, maintenance, and property services, ensuring the highest standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Building Surveyors in delivering day-to-day operations and major repairs.
  • Assist in managing disrepair cases, void properties, and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Help oversee a variety of contractors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and performance indicators.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in building surveying or maintenance, preferably within a housing association or local authority context. Knowledge of measurement methods and a focus on value for money are essential.
