Job Title: Apprentice Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Apprentice Production Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 production operatives and coordinating all aspects of our Wire Rope, Petroleum Jelly, and Rust Prevention plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of production operatives to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
  • Coordinate and implement all aspects of plant operations, including manufacturing, filling, and bulk loading schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, time, safety, and integrity standards.
  • Manage plant operations to meet customer demand and OTIF requirements.
  • Support the embedding of Right First Time (RFT) behaviours into production and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
  • Maintain a good standard of housekeeping and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Experience of production operations in the lubricant/chemical industry is essential.
  • Knowledge of six sigma and SAP would be advantageous.
