Residential Care Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and quality-focused Residential Care Manager to join our team at a fantastic residential home for older people based in the Bournemouth area.

The home is a beautiful small-sized facility providing care to residents with dementia. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Residential Care Manager who has prior experience in managing similar settings or has a strong background in dementia care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality person-centered care, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred)
  • Prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in older people or dementia care homes
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
