Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Inspector with expertise in CMM to lead a small quality assurance team as a department supervisor.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Inspector, your primary duties will include:

  • Initial Inspection: Conducting first-off inspections of components to verify compliance with product specifications.
  • Ongoing Surveillance: Performing patrol inspections to ensure continuous quality assurance.
  • Measurement Techniques: Utilizing specialized tools, including CMM and shadow graph, for precise measurement of parts.
  • Comprehensive Final Inspection: Executing thorough visual, paperwork, and dimensional checks of components.
  • FAIR Reviews: Ensuring that First Article Inspection Reports are traceable to raw materials and adhere to AS9100 standards.

Additional Duties:
In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with AS9100 specifications.
  • Overseeing calibration processes to maintain equipment accuracy.
  • Verifying material traceability to confirm that parts meet drawing requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing pressure effectively.
  • Strong prioritization skills to handle daily tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.

Benefits:

  • 20 days of paid leave per annum, increasing by one day for each completed year, up to a maximum of 25 days.

  • A four-day work week, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour shifts.
