About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Videographer/Content Creator to join an independent production team focused on enhancing the volume and quality of video content for a diverse array of clients. This position will primarily involve assisting in the shooting and editing of digital media, including basic motion graphics. We are looking for an individual eager to grow into a versatile operator with a strong foundation in all technical aspects of content production. Comprehensive on-the-job training and development opportunities will be provided, along with potential for external learning experiences. You will engage in various projects, including large-scale sports events and corporate shoots, while maintaining a positive demeanor and effectively collaborating with clients and on-screen talent.
Key Responsibilities
Primary:
- Edit video and audio content for online platforms, ensuring compatibility across various formats and aspect ratios.
- Lead lighting setups and shoot video content for smaller projects.
- Support larger shoots by attending in a behind-the-scenes capacity.
- Create and design basic motion graphics using existing templates.
- Communicate with clients regarding project briefs and expectations.
- Manage editing projects, including archiving and workflow processes.
- Engage in training for advanced production skills, including motion graphics and project management.
- Propose content ideas for current and potential clients.
Secondary:
- Assist with social media content posting.
- Occasionally update website content.
- Research emerging trends and ideas in video content.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with significant experience.
- Competent in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of editing workflows and formats.
- Excellent editorial judgment.
- High proficiency in camera operation, preferably with Sony FX series.
- Experience in color grading.
- Solid knowledge of online video content and industry trends.
- Able to work independently and follow project briefs.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for independent learning.
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
