**Job Summary**

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team in Darlington.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services. This will include:

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving performance of machinery.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Expertise: Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Write and follow risk assessments, and accurately document and report on maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues, and respond confidently and accurately to requests.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Deputize the shift leader during annual leave or sickness, and supervise contractors as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong Proven Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Electrical Competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition.
  • Mechanical Competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical.
  • Good Multi-Skilled Ability and experience of heavy engineering.
  • PLC Diagnostics and Repair Competencies and NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Ability to Supervise Contractors and write risk and method statements.
  • IPAF certification.
