We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all workshop activities, including servicing, maintenance, and repair of pump and pump-related products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise all workshop activities, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Responsible for training new team members in all aspects of pump maintenance and service.
  • Implement and enforce quality, health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, safe systems of work, PPE, regulations, and legislation.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to ensure effective operations throughout the workshop.
  • Install pump systems into various manufacturing industries.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
  • Managed a team in an electromechanical or mechanical engineering environment, such as pumps, engines, compressors, filtration, generators, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and similar electromechanical engineering equipment.
  • Experience working with diesel engines would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience as a workshop manager, engineering manager, service manager, service supervisor, workshop supervisor, branch manager, assistant branch manager, or similar.
  • A technical engineering degree or qualification, or apprentice-trained, would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to commute daily to the workshop in Liverpool.
Package:
  • £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Overtime.
