Role Summary

This is a permanent position (contract-to-permanent candidates are welcome) focused on delivering technical professional services for email archiving migration projects.

The selected candidate will receive training on the migration tools and methodologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting pre-sales technical discussions
  • Facilitating migration design workshops
  • Creating design and reporting documentation
  • Executing, monitoring, and reporting on migration projects
  • Writing and executing SQL database queries
  • Troubleshooting technical issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceEssential:
  • Experience with MS Exchange (both on-premise and online) administration
  • Fundamentals of Active Directory
  • Configuration and setup of Windows Server
  • Basic understanding of networking principles, including IP addressing, routing, and firewalls
  • Proficient in Excel, with advanced formula skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently with peers and small groups of client stakeholders
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation
Desirable:
  • Experience with Enterprise Vault administration
  • Familiarity with Azure AD administration
  • Proficiency in writing T-SQL queries
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of Cloud Archive solutions (e.g., Mimecast, ProofPoint)

Additional Responsibilities
  • Organizing and batching devices/users for migration
  • Monitoring migration batches
  • Debugging migration failures and reprocessing
  • Escalating complex migration issues to senior team members
  • Providing weekly reports on migration outcomes
