Job Title: Process Control Systems Engineer

Asymchem Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Systems Engineer to join our team in API Manufacturing, Sandwich. The successful candidate will provide specialist technical expertise and support for the process plant, ensuring they meet operational requirements and applicable legislative and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide PCS technical expertise and support to the Operations group, Process Supervisors, engineers, and project teams.
  • Support the development, implementation, validation, and support of PCS in API Manufacturing facilities, including PCs and networking hardware.
  • Maintain the validated state of PCS in API Manufacturing facilities following corporate standards and guidelines, and the principles of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP).
  • Provide an excellent level of service and support to the Operations group, ensuring PCS technical support is always available when required and plant downtime is minimized.
  • Provide PCS software engineering expertise in support of system enhancements and improvements.
  • Manage the provision of all PCS deliverables for engineering projects, including hardware and software components, commissioning, system testing, validation, and all associated documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • ~5+ years of demonstrated experience in Automation Engineering, with practical working experience in Emerson DeltaV system.
  • Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
  • Experience on Automation Compliance projects.
  • Teamwork spirit, good communication skills, and training abilities.
