About the Sales Executive Role:

  • Salary range £26-£32K, depending on experience
  • Performance Related Bonus
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (can be flexible on start / finish time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of products, customers, and the marketplace
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the supply chain
  • Drive sales of core products
  • Attend industry events and conferences to gain knowledge and establish connections
  • Stay informed about expected sales margins for each product
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide quotations to customers and follow up on sales leads
  • Support sales efforts through email and customer communication
  • Attend pre-contract and site meetings
  • Identify ideal customers and understand how they relate to company products
  • Stay aware of competitive activities in relevant markets
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve lead generation
  • Conduct reviews of product gaps and new product development needs
  • Foster strong, loyal relationships with decision-makers
  • Ensure quotations are within company capabilities (technical, financial, and other risks)

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Excellent administrative and software skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
