Electrical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead a high-profile project in the heart of London. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that offers a competitive salary of up to £75,000 - £85,000.

Project Overview

The project is a substantial £12m Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) endeavour, with approximately half of the budget allocated to electrical works. The scope includes a comprehensive Cat A fit-out across three floors, featuring 2 toilet cores, new infrastructure connecting to a new LV switchboard, new busbar riser, roof plant, basement EOJ facilities, new reception, generator, fire alarm, security, access control, data, new lighting and lighting control, and lightning protection extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the electrical aspects of the project from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with the Mechanical Project Manager and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and maintain clear communication channels.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale M&E projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
