Job Title: Consultant Anaesthetist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Anaesthetic Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultant-led anaesthetic care for patients in elective and emergency settings.
  • Supervise junior medical staff and ensure continuing patient care at all times.
  • Participate in teaching, research, and clinical audit activities to maintain and develop Anaesthetic Services.
Requirements:
  • MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualification.
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing anaesthetic care for various specialties, including Acute Pain interventions.
  • Full registration with GMC and Specialist Registration with the GMC in Anaesthesia.
