Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based practices and interventions
  • Promote a recovery-focused model of care, empowering patients to take control of their mental health
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and students, promoting professional development and growth

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
  • Experience working in mental health settings, with a focus on MOHO (Motivation, Opportunity, Budget, and Environment)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
