Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our Facilities Management team at Diligenta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on environmental and safety matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and report accidents and incidents to the HSE
  • Coordinate health and safety training and emergency response arrangements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on environmental and safety matters
  • Support the Head of FM in reviewing and updating health and safety documentation
  • Coordinate office moves and update spreadsheets as required
  • Assist with client meetings and minute-taking
  • Reconcile invoices for third-party suppliers

Requirements:

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • NEBOSH qualification (or willingness to complete within the first year)
  • Grade C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Education to A-Level standard
  • Experience in conducting DSE assessments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Background in creating and monitoring budgets
