Job Title: Senior EC&I Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior EC&I Engineer to join our team at our Devonport, Rosyth, or Bristol site. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll be responsible for Electrical/Electronic aspects of marine system design, integrating practical electrical, electronic combat, and automation product solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Electrical/Electronic aspects of marine system design
  • Integrating practical electrical, electronic combat, and automation product solutions
  • Providing electrical & electronic design support by preparing and checking design documentation, reviews, estimates, and schedules
  • Supervising, planning, and controlling work to time, cost, and quality
  • Developing Electrical/Electronic engineering design solutions for various platforms across the full Engineering Lifecycle
Requirements
  • High level of developed knowledge in Electrical/Electronic engineering design
  • Significant experience in engineering calculation, analysis, and integration
  • Experience working on UK naval marine shipbuilding projects or defence-related design experience
  • Experience of operating in a defence or high safety integrity environment
  • Experience of all phases of the engineering lifecycle and configuration control systems
