About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Birchwood, Warrington. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate engineering activities, including design and development of mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions for projects, from concept design to design for manufacture.
  • Identify design, statutory, and regulatory requirements, and contribute to risk assessments.
  • Produce technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
  • Review technical deliverables, including reports and drawings.
  • Present engineering solutions to stakeholders and as part of design reviews.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Attained or working towards chartered or incorporated status with a recognised professional body.
  • Experience of highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with UKCA/CE Marking, CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PED, Machinery's Directive.
