Senior Geotechnical Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for designing and developing geotechnical solutions for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop geotechnical solutions for projects across various sectors, including rail and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in geotechnical design and engineering consultancy.
- Chartered or approaching chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- Strong knowledge of Autocad and standard geotechnical design tools.
- Experience with earthwork design, slope stability, foundation design, sheet pile, pile design, soil nailing, ground anchors, gravity and embedded retaining wall design.
