About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at an international high-end Italian restaurant in Central London. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to every guest, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with the floor staff and hosts to ensure seamless service during peak meal periods.
  • Assist with daily operations, including maintaining sanitation standards and ensuring that the restaurant is presented in a clean and welcoming manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  • Upsell and suggest additional items, such as starters, second drinks, and desserts, to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Work effectively as part of a large team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues to ensure that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during service, ensuring that every guest leaves the restaurant satisfied and eager to return.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume, high-end restaurant environment. You will be passionate about Italian food and beverage, and have a strong understanding of wine, cocktails, and other beverages. You will also be fluent in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
