Maintenance Technician

E3 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the effective operation of our client's chemical manufacturing site in Middlesbrough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working order.
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and rectify equipment defects.
- Implement planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize plant availability.
- Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are adhered to during maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant apprenticeship qualifications in Mechanical, Maintenance, or Engineering.
- Experience working in a chemical, oil & gas, or petrochemical environment.
- Mechanical fitting experience and multiskilled abilities (mechanical and electrical).
- Strong maintenance experience through fault finding, planned preventative, and reactive maintenance.
What We Offer:
- Competitive annual salary of £38,000.
- Days-based role with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
- Initial 6-month contract with opportunities for extension.
