About the Role

Fleet Education Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Tutor to join our team of experienced educators. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve academic success.

Our learners are situated throughout the UK, and we are looking for a tutor who can provide high-quality tuition to learners who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations. As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition, and monitoring learner progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored tuition sessions to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learner guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
