This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Nuclear sector as a Training Instructor, with an engineering bias, at Hinkley Point C (HPC).

HPC is building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

This department will be delivering technical maintenance and engineering training programmes in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of these key training areas.

They must be mobile to deliver training where required, ensuring personnel have the required initial knowledge to carry out their roles to a high level.

The job holder must ensure accuracy of material, adherence to the training standards/procedures, and excellence in quality of delivery.
Key Responsibilities


As a Training Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a major impact on the performance of the organisation through the application and delivery of quality training.

  1. Develop and deliver technical maintenance and engineering training programmes in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Engineering.
  2. Ensure personnel have the required initial knowledge to carry out their roles to a high level.
  3. Ensure accuracy of material, adherence to the training standards/procedures, and excellence in quality of delivery.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and Engineering, with experience in training delivery and development.
